Bring Me Home was founded in 2017 with a group of friends who had a goal to give kids from under served communities an opportunity to play sports. We were aware that the access we had to athletics wasn't something that all kids had and we wanted to do something to help make a difference.
Research shows that playing sports provides a range of physical, emotional and interpersonal benefits for kids including:

Every player receives a Bring Me Home baseball cap. All proceeds will be divided equally between Friends of Baseball and Lake Oswego Little League. |

How You Can Help

Clark Knappenberger, Northwest Diamond Sports
Coach Clark has logged over 30,000 coaching hours and has competed in over 3,500 baseball games and counting! He joined Northwest Diamond Sports in 2004 a year after they opened their doors. He is committed to player excellence on and off the field and has high expectations for all his athletes. Born and raised in Lake Oswego, OR he was a familiar face playing through Little League, Little League All Stars, Babe Ruth, Babe Ruth All Stars and was a leader at Lake Oswego High School. Kevin Gunderson is a former standout pitcher from Portland, Oregon, who played at Central Catholic High School, where he compiled a 41–3 record and earned multiple All-League, All-State, and MVP honors before signing with Oregon State University. At Oregon State, he became one of the most accomplished relievers in program history, earning All-American and All-Pac-10 honors, setting school records for single-season (20) and career saves (37), and playing a key role in the Beavers’ 2006 College World Series championship, where he was named to the All-World Series Team. He also competed on the 2005 USA National Team alongside several future MLB stars and was later selected in the 5th round of the MLB Draft by the Atlanta Braves. Gunderson spent five seasons in professional baseball, reaching Triple-A and contributing to a Double-A championship team, before returning to Oregon, where he now lives with his family.
971 -333-8244 [email protected] Darren Wittcke brings a wealth of knowledge to Gunderson Baseball. A native Oregonian, Darren played locally at Madison High School and then collegiately at Portland State University where he was a 44th round draft pick by the San Francisco Giants. After his playing days concluded, Darren was a Major League scout for 25 years. In total, Darren signed 39 Major League players during his tenure as a scout, most notably: Tim Lincecum, Brandon Crawford and Brian Wilson. Darren will work alongside Coach Gunderson, developing programs and training the older age groups within Gunderson Baseball.
